Self-Worth

There are moments in everyone’s life that we feel as if we don’t matter. And question why you were born. Admit it, we have all felt that. Well, in the Bible God reveals your worth, and proves how much He loves us, and how valuable our lives are to Him. He had sacrificed His only begotten son to die on the cross for us, for our well being of OUR soul. What Father would give His only son in exchange to save ours? God! Jesus knew His birth and Ministry were in His father’s will, and had respected that. He had also loved us, and knew the pains He was to suffer for us. Where we feel those moments of despair, loneliness, and desperation of our well being, just remember who is there waiting, and wants you to know that you are worth more than you think!

Do you know you’re no mistake?
God knew you before your birth!
In your mother’s womb He wove together
all your parts and gave you worth.

Do you know God knows your days?
Each one He fashioned; each decreed
and written in His book
before they came to be.

Do you know God loves you
with an everlasting love?
Do you know He draws you
with loving kindness from above?

Do you know God will not leave you
to sail stormy seas alone?
Do you know God’s plans succeed
wherever you might roam?

Do you know He carries you …
bears with… delivers too?
From womb to grey hairs, He is God:
His word to you is true!
Do you know – really know -
this God who loves you so?

Psalms 139:7-10

“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.”

Psalms 139:13

“For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.”

**God’s character goes into the creation of every person. When you feel worthless or even begin to hate yourself, remember that God’s spirit is ready and willing to work within you. God thinks of you constantly. We should have as much respect for ourselves as our Maker has for us. **

Psalms 139:15-16

“My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”

Romans 8:28

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
